The Cold Press
Summer 2022
New wall pieces and works on paper were installed within the beautiful setting of a 300 year old Spitalfields townhouse.
Wall sculptures commissioned by The Cold Press explore the inherent characteristics of glass, and the movement that occurs when the material becomes fluid with heat. Some forms are accentuated by a coating of precious metal on the surface which highlights the nuanced and unique qualities of each piece.
Concurrently, a visit to The Cold Press Print Studio enabled explorations in a two dimensional intaglio medium, and a unique series of blind relief prints were also shown within the exhibition.
